Front line demonstrations of technologies through selected farmers in coordination with State department.
Popularize the proven technologies through various extension methods by cluster area approach.
Technology should be clearly spelt out Resource centre for initial input and seri appliances such as mulberry cuttings, silkworm seed, chawki worms’ chemicals and seri appliances.
Conduct training of farmers on various technological aspects.
Conduct survey on crop yield, economics and disease and pest surveillance for forecasting/ forewarning.
Coordination with Department of Sericulture and allied department in all extension activities.
Involve in conservation of ecoraces prevailing in the States concerned in case of Vanya RECs.
Technology feedback analysis and crop monitoring.
