Human resources are vital for the growth of the sericulture industry, and CSB–CSR&TI Mysuru conducts various training programmes to meet industry needs. These programmes focus on human resource development and skill enhancement, providing training to scientists, officers, and technical staff, including personnel from CSB, DoS, and NGOs. Farmers, silk reelers, entrepreneurs, unemployed youth, and other stakeholders are also encouraged to participate. All programmes are conducted by experienced and qualified scientists, and most training programmes are sponsored by CSB and other funding agencies. The institute also provides hostel facilities for trainees.
